Dr. Chris Severns and Dr. Natalie Severns are proud that they’ve built a compassionate, experienced family dental and orthodontic practice together. They and their staff believe that each patient should be treated like family. Since graduating from dental school in 1997, they’ve provided friendly, high-quality patient care to kids and adults.
Dr. Chris Severns truly enjoys being a dentist and building long-term relationships with his patients. After completing a major in Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh, he continued at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, graduating as one of the top students in the class. He was inducted into an honorary dental society for top dental students and was the only student awarded the Oral Diagnosis award.
Following his graduation from dental school in 1997, Dr. Severns then completed a residency program at Allegheny General Hospital to learn further specialized procedures and advanced dentistry in order to better serve his patients and their oral health needs. Dr. Severns welcomes all dental patients and practices general, family, and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Natalie Severns is an orthodontist who has a family background in dentistry: her grandmother was a dentist. Dr. Severns grew up in Mt. Lebanon, PA, and decided she wanted to become a dentist while spending her summers working for her grandmother.
Upon graduating from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Severns specialized in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. She then did an externship in London, England, at the prestigious Guy’s Hospital. At this hospital, she learned top therapies in Dentofacial Orthopedics to provide her patients with the best possible facial esthetics.
She has spoken at the International Association of Dental Research meeting describing the latest discoveries involving tooth movement.
